1.Overview
This Refund & Return Policy applies to all products purchased through store.insynapse.com ("InSynapse Store"), operated by InSynapse Technologies India Private Limited. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
This policy is in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2.Return Eligibility
You may return a product within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product is unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories and tags intact
- The product is defective or damaged upon arrival
- The product received is different from what was ordered
To be eligible for a return, the product must be in the same condition in which you received it. Products that show signs of use, physical damage caused after delivery, or missing components may not be eligible for a full refund.
3.Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Products that have been installed or professionally set up (unless defective)
- Products with tampered or missing serial numbers
- Products purchased during clearance or final sale (clearly marked at the time of purchase)
- Gift cards and digital products
4.How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return:

- Provide your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
- Our team will review your request and provide return instructions within 2 business days
- Ship the product back to us or arrange for a pickup (for Pune-area customers)
Please retain proof of return shipping until your refund is processed. We are not responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit unless we arranged the pickup.
5.Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned product:
- We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 3 business days of receiving the returned item
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 business days
- The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
Refund Amounts
- Defective or wrong product: Full refund including shipping charges
- Change of mind (unused, within 7 days): Product price refunded; original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Partial damage or missing accessories: Partial refund at our discretion based on the condition
6.Exchanges
We offer exchanges for defective or damaged products, subject to stock availability. If you wish to exchange a product, please follow the same return process outlined above and indicate that you prefer an exchange. If the replacement product is not available, we will process a full refund instead.
7.Damaged or Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged or is found to be defective:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs showing the damage or defect
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you
- For Pune-area customers, we may arrange an in-person pickup
Please do not discard any packaging material until the return or exchange is resolved, as we may need it for inspection.
8.Manufacturer Warranty
Products sold through the InSynapse Store are manufactured by third parties (such as Aqara, Govee, and other brands). These products carry manufacturer warranties as specified on the product packaging or manufacturer's website.
For warranty claims beyond our 7-day return window, you may need to contact the manufacturer directly. We will assist you with the process wherever possible, including providing purchase documentation.
9.Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it has been shipped. To cancel:

- If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and process a full refund
- If the order has already been shipped, you will need to follow the standard return process
